3 Ways That E-Books Make Your Online Business More Successful

An E-Book is a relatively low cost and easy item to construct but it holds a number of benefits for your online business and can increase the success of your website enormously. Below are some great reasons to make an E-Book available to your website visitors.

#1 Lead Generation

The goal of every online marketer is to build and continuously grow a quality mailing list in order to be able to promote their products and services through email more successfully. I'm sure that you have noticed by now that some visitors to your website may be a little reluctant to give away their email address to you without getting any benefits in return.

By offering your visitors a FREE E-Book in exchange for their email address you will find that more and more visitors will be happy to give you their details because they perceive the E-Book as a quality exchange. You will be able to quickly build up a quality list of leads which you can later turn into buyers through your email marketing campaigns through the use of this lead generation tactic.

#2 Traffic Drivers

By offering an E-Book on a periodic basis you will see how the traffic to your website will increase and better yet most of it will be return traffic so if a visitor was not converted into a buyer the first time they visited you have something which will draw them back time and again and have another opportunity to convert them a second and third time.

#3 Trust Builders

By publishing E-Books on your website and offering them to your visitors you will build up the image that your company is an expert in the field that you operate in which in return will increase and build up the trust levels between you and your visitors. This is an important factor to have in a customer and business relationship because is a customer does not have trust in you they will never buy from you.

Now that you know what you could be achieving for your online business in the future start by compiling a simple E-Book today to offer to your website visitors and start making them into buying customers!

Planning A Trip And Enjoying Your Holiday: A Travel Check List

Common wisdom tells us that a death of a loved one and moving house are the two most stressful events a person can go through in the modern world. Not being an estate agent or a funeral director, I can't really comment on either of these - but I do feel qualified to discuss another stressful area - planning a trip and preparing to go on holiday.

It's ironic that a period of the year designed to promote rest and relaxation can actually be the cause of the most stress and strain present for the entire year. Things are usually completed in a rush, there is a lot to organise and there's packing time to consider - and that's not even taking into account the stress families will go through looking after the kids during all of this! For this reason, I've written a useful holiday check list to ensure you don't miss any of the small things which have a tendency to turn into bigger problems while you're away.

Simply work through my holiday check list and travel with peace of mind:

Before you go (planning your trip)

* Always make sure you have full travel insurance, fit for the purpose of your trip and if you have an annual policy - check that it is still valid. Sometimes people who have purchased annual travel insurance forget to renew it, and assume they are covered whenever they wish to leave the country. Checking your travel insurance is right for the task can save you a lot of stress and tears in the long run, should the worst happen. It is also essential that you make your travel insurance company aware of any pre existing medical condition you have before you travel - although it may increase your costs in the short term, you may find yourself without cover if you later need to claim on such an illness without having warned them of it!

* If you're traveling within the European economic region, or in Switzerland, you should get a free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). It's a common misconception that this is as good as travel insurance for giving you free health care, but it can entitle you to reduced costs, meaning you are not left out of pocket while you wait to be reimbursed on your policy.

* When planning a trip, make sure the vaccinations for both you and your family are up to date - especially if you're travelling outside of Europe. Your health care provider can advise you of any additional vaccinations you'll need depending on where you're going.

* Fill in the contact details at the back of your passport for the next of kin, or the details of someone who can be contacted in case of an emergency.

* Make sure you are aware of the immigration and custom laws of the country you are traveling to when planning a trip. A visa may take a little time to come through, so be prepared and allow enough time to complete this procedure. Also you should note that in many countries your passport needs to be valid for at least six months after the date you travel, so check this in advance.

* Tell someone where you are going and when they should expect you back. Try to leave an itinerary and details of where you may be able to be contacted during your time abroad, in case of emergency.

* If you are planning on driving in foreign climes, take your full driving license with you. Make sure you are aware of the driving laws, license requirements and driving conditions of your destination before you set off.

When you are there

* Be aware of security and take sensible precautions. If an area is advised against travelling to, the chances are there's a good reason for it!

* Keep a note of the local embassy, high commission or consulate number. Although the chances are you will not need it, it's always worth holding on to in the case of emergency.

* Stay in regular contact with your family and friends, especially if you are travelling alone. This will ensure they're always aware of where you are and should be, and can ensure they can contact you in the case of emergency.

* Respect local customs and behave and dress appropriately. Although unlikely to cause disastrous problems, as a guest in a foreign culture, it's only polite to try and fit in.

On return

* Inform family and friends of your safe return, to end their worries and ensure no bogus emergency calls are made.

* If you need to make any claims against your travel insurance make sure this is done at the earliest opportunity, for maximum chance of getting a positive result.

I hope this travel check list has been helpful. Although planning a trip in this much detail may seem like a lot of hassle, dotting all the 'I's and crossing all the 'T's, it really is worth doing. In the end, following this holiday check list to the letter will ensure you are more relaxed and prepared to enjoy your holiday, and should the worst happen you'll be well equipped to deal with it.

Becoming A Vegetarian Is Changing One's Lifestyle

You've been mulling around in your head about what you eat and what you'd rather eat instead. Since forever, you ate both meats and produce, but you're considering converting to strictly eating just produce and being a vegetarian. This choice, switching from being an omnivore to a vegetarian, is a big and bold move.

In essence, becoming a vegetarian is to completely modify all aspects of your diet. And changing your eating habits is essentially altering your lifestyle.

With lifestyle change and personal decisions ahead, it's easy to get flustered, but don't! Instead, inform yourself and collect your thoughts. Read up on the positives and the negatives of adopting such a produce-driven lifestyle. Research your possible vegetarian food options. Be aware of the reasons that can initially spur, but better yet, justify such a dietary change in your life.

For reasons ranging from health, to ethics and morals, converting to vegetarianism ways is an act harvested from grounds all too fertile. The advantages are there, as are the brutal facts pushing " and continuing to push - many people to adopt a vegetarian way of living. But, really, why should you, let alone anyone, become a vegetarian? The reasons are endless. Specifically looking at factors for health and keeping with environmentally-safe actions, here are two major reasons to consider if you're thinking of converting:

Keeping Health In Mind-

Vegetarianism is more healthful than eating both meats and produce. Meats are a significant source of protein and are full of plenty nutritional essentials, but they're also full of fatty deposits. It has been proven that meats contain high levels of cholesterol and saturated fats. Vegetables, on the other hand, are more beneficial for someone seeking to lower their fat intake, as they contain little to no cholesterol or 'bad' fats.

So, by substituting meats with varied produce, you'll be cutting unwanted and unhealthy fats from your diet. And in the process, you'll also be ingesting some more produce-based 'good' fats that will actually be better than meat-based saturated fats.

In terms of nutrition, by omitting meats you'll be eating a variety of more balanced and nutritional foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, beans and so on. All these will contribute to a better and healthful lifestyle through great amounts of nutrients. From this, your energy will skyrocket and your chances for contracting illnesses will lessen significantly.

Keeping Green and Helping The Environment-

Eating meat, and doing it often, is quite detrimental to our environment. It's a matter of wasting resources and not creating more effective methods that will better environmental standards and current states.

Through the wasteful and exorbitant means it takes to feed our livestock, we are contributing to overusing our resources, such as land and water. The amount of land, water and grain annually used to provide farm animals continued living " until time of slaughter - overwhelmingly exceeds what we have available (or are able to produce) and what we would consider environmental-friendly. Even furthermore, these ineffective methods are adding to the already prevalent problem of depleting fuel and nonrenewable resources.

It's clear that raising animals for food, in the manner that is currently conducted, is a wolf in sheep's clothing. And sad thing is, most people are completely unaware that our methods are damaging and in need of major revamping.

Whether for you've been considering switching to vegetarianism due to personal, health, environmental or any other reason, know you're not alone in this decision. Be aware though. If you do change your eating habits, it's a lifestyle change and you'll have to stick to it, no matter the difficulties interwoven.

Source: If you're considering to adopt a vegetarian lifestyle or are already one, why not try some reusable produce bags and environmentally helpful. Green bags, a side from being environment-friendly, are also great to keep all your produce super fresh.

Make Those Informational Pages Work for You

The informational page serves as a navigational assist to the searcher who might not have located the Web site's content because they were not searching with the same language used in the Web site. Be sure, therefore, to register additional keyword-rich domain names for informational pages.

An informational page should contain valuable, relevant content such that it can stand on its own. Informational pages really become small navigational Web sites. They discuss a particular topic in some detail; perhaps they summarize some content area of the Web site and then link users to that area of the Web site. Often, they discuss a concept or describe using the vernacular of the industry rather than that of the general public. There is absolutely no reason why this informational content can not be placed on an external domain name. When choosing a domain name for externally hosted informational pages, there is less of a requirement that the domain name be good, interesting or memorable. What is important is that the domain name contains the targeted keyword phrase.

Don't overlook the importance of naming the files and folders after keywords, too. This strategy is best when used sparingly and worst when overused. External domains name with content-rich informational pages are a valuable and important strategy to supplement a search engine positioning program, but they are not a search engine positioning program in and of themselves. Nothing can take the place of properly optimizing the existing Web site and ensuring that all leverage is realized from your actual Web site.

An informational page that your Web site hosts internally, or even one that is hosted externally should also have links to it from the main Web site. The mistake many make when building informational pages is to make them exist as islands: Nothing links to them. They only link to destination pages. All of the major search engines now consider link popularity as a component of their ranking algorithm. If a Web site has links to resources but not from other sites, it is unlikely to attain a high ranking on any competitive keyword. If your informational page is devoid of valuable content, nobody will want to link to it. If your informational page is rich with interesting and relevant content, others will establish links to the page and your ranking will rise.

Note that simply building a Web page containing the elements above is no guarantee that your informational page will be a winner. The page must have very simple HTML and certain keyword concentrations, or weight values, of your different targeted keyword phrase in order to ace the rankings.

What Does It Mean To Publish?

To publish means to make information and literature available for the public to view. Publishing involves the process of producing and distributing literature so that the public can have access to it. Sometimes, certain authors publish their own work and in that case they become their own publishers.

The traditional meaning of the word "publishing" means to print newspapers and books on paper and distribute them. But now with improved technology we have the Internet and other digital information systems. So, now publishing is done not only through printing but also electronically. Of late a large number of periodicals and books have been published online and electronically through CDs and DVDs.

The authors of traditional printed materials sell exclusive territorial intellectual property rights that match the list of countries in which distribution is proposed (i.e. the rights match the legal systems under which copyright protections can be enforced). In the case of books, the publisher and writer must also agree on the intended formats of publication mass-market paperback, "trade" paperback and hardback are the most common options.

The situation is slightly more complex if electronic formatting is to be used. Where distribution is to be by CD-ROM or other physical media, there is no reason to treat this form differently from a paper format, and a national copyright is an acceptable approach.

If you want to publish a book, there are several steps involved in the process. The steps involved in publishing are development, acquisition, editing, designing of cover etc, production (which involves printing on paper or electronically), marketing and distribution.

The first step involved if you want to publish a book is submission. The author or the literary agent has to submit a proposal or query letter. The next step in the publishing process is negotiation. Once the proposal has been accepted, the commissioning editors start to negotiate the purchasing of intellectual property rights and finally agree on a certain rate. One of the main steps in publishing is the editorial stage. In this stage of publishing, the work to be published is reviewed and proofread and if any changes are to be made the author is asked to rewrite or make some small changes. This is done usually to match the grammatical requirements and style of each market. Requesting for additional information and structural changes are part of this stage of publishing.

Next stage in publishing is the prepress stage. Once the text is finalized, the design has to be decided. Artwork, photographs and layout need to be finalized. Typesetting is done for placement of artwork and setting the layout. Proofreading is done in this stage of publishing also. Paper quality, composition of dust jacket and binding method has to be decided. Once typesetting is done, the files are saved normally in the PDF format.

The publisher is the one who usually controls marketing tasks such as advertising. If it is a small company, tasks such as proofreading, editing and layout may be outsourced to freelancers.

This is only a simple overview of what it takes to publish a book. If you successfully publish one book, you can start thinking about a reprint or about publishing a new book!

Writers Make Money Online

When you think of making money writing, you often think of freelance writing, ghost writing, and writing novels... all of which you can do on the internet. However, I'm wanting to talk about the hidden opportunities for good writers in internet marketing (no, forget blogging).

Information is the key to the internet, whether selling tangible or digital goods. To answer your question, yes, people buy ebooks all the time. They don't even mind paying for those physical books bound together by a wire. This is because it's all about information. People are starving for it.

If you can write well, you can make money online. As for internet marketers, the way we run our entire operation is with the written word. We set up our websites with content, we drive traffic to our websites by submitting our articles in mass, and we write sales copy for our products and reviews for other hot products. We even write series of e-mails that are automatically sent via an auto-responder.

The big hype over the past few years has been on blogging. Writers are slaving away at their blogs as we speak, as 1 is created every second according to Technorati. Truth is very few bloggers are making any kind of serious money while many internet marketers who can write are banking. Instead of slaving away at blogs, most of us write articles and submit them massively throughout the web for backlinks.

If you're not a great writer, however, you should take up blogging while at the same time studying internet marketing, so you can hone your craft. If you have writing skills, immediately begin IM. I suggest diving in at the forum that's been online since 1997, WarriorForum.com.

For the rest of this article I want to reveal 5 things you can do with writing skills to make money online just to prove my point.

#1.

Write a review of a product, join the maker's affiliate program in order to earn commissions, buy webspace and PHP redirect using your affiliate link, spin your review article, and submit the spun versions to various ezine directories on the net while using your link to your website in the resource boxes.

#2.

Buy private label rights material on a hot subject, edit it completely and create an ebook with it inserting an affiliate link within, create a website to promote your ebook, use some of your PLR to write articles then massively submit them to ezines.

#3.

Buy webhosting and a short punchy .com domain name, find a free template by searching Google, buy 25 PLR articles and rewrite them to make them unique, put the articles on your site, and sell the website along with its contents at Sedo.

#4.

Write content, put it in a zip file, and sell private label rights to your content at your website over and over using PayPal.

#5.

Write an ebook, create a squeeze page at your site, register your ebook at ClickBank, drive traffic to your sales page and squeeze page with articles and affiliates, market your ebook through a series of emails via an auto-responder.

How To Get Links from PR5 and above sites in 1 Easy Step.

How To Get Links from PR5 and above sites in 1 Easy Step. Article Directories and Remarkable Results

I was recently asked about the challenge of getting links from high ranking sites. When I started saying " Oh, that's easy" my questioner interrupted and told me that there was no way getting links from high ranking sites was a easy task.

I told my obstinate interviewer "Well here's everything you need to know about getting in bound links from PR5's and above in 1 easy step:

Submit original content article to the top article directories. Pretty easy, huh? Well actually it's not that difficult and the Top article directories have proven they will grow your links and traffic, quickly and easily."

So join these top article directories and open an account and get busy.

Based on a recent search the top article directory sites are.

ezinearticles.com- Pr 6

goarticles.com- Pr 6

articlecity.com- Pr 6

articledashboard.com -Pr 6

buzzle.com-Pr 6

Zinos.com- Pr 6

easyarticles.com -Pr 6

Searchwarp.com -Pr 5

These sites represent the most cost effective, traffic increasing, money making plan available to the web entrepreneur. You will experience extensive promotion of your articles for just a little time or a little money.

Successful business owners have learned that submitting original articles really does pull in laser targeted traffic that converts to customers and makes money for their products, services, and/or affiliate programs.

When you take the time to post an article, whether you wrote it or paid to have it written, it establishes you and your site as an authority. It increases your traffic and your conversions.

Every article you submit has a resource box allowing you to include a short description about you, your topic, whatever and a link to your site. Use your resource box profitably and it will pay you off over and over.

Think about it, if 30 ezine publishers with 4000 subscribers use your original article, or 20 websites with 1,000' of visitors post your article the potential traffic means more monetization for your site. And that's a good thing.

Your original articles with quality content will be posted to a plethora of websites, website owners looking for relevant content and ezine publishers looking for highly targeted content will use well written informative articles.

Make the tone or feel of your article your own and don't be afraid to use a little humor, interesting and readable should be your goal.

"Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal." Henry Ford

Astute website publishers use original articles as a way to increase traffic to their site and to promote their products and information. Do you?

Tips For Writing Articles

There are a lot of people who think that writing articles is a difficult process that requires a lot of time and effort. They also may not fully realise the benefits of having good content and great content both for their website and also for driving traffic to their site.

One of the benefits of articles is that provided they contain relevant keywords and keyword phrases they can drive traffic to your site. More traffic means more potential customers which means more potential profits for you. At the end of an article that you submit to one or more of the hundreds of article directories, you can include a resource box. This has the advantage of allowing you to write a bit about yourself and your site and include a link to your site. When your readers like the information in your article then they can click on your link and they are taken directly to your website.

Article writing is not as difficult as you think and gets easier the more you do. As with anything else in life 'practice makes perfect'. Provided you have a good understanding of grammar and a spell checker on your computer then writing articles becomes quite easy. Here are some useful tips to help you.

1. Keep it simple. Don't make it harder than it really is. If you already have a website then you already know something about your subject. Look through the article directories and read two or three articles on your subject. Jot down the main points but do not copy any articles. Now, just start writing. You are trying to tell other people about your subject and they may know very little about it. Keep it interesting for them and make them want to read it.

2. Do not get stressed about it. At this stage nobody else is seeing what you are writing about other than you, so it doesn't matter. OK, you know what it is you want to sell. Think of yourself as the customer and think of the information that you would want to see. Visit forums where your customers participate and read through the posts looking at the questions that they ask. Base your articles on those questions. You may want to write an entire article based on one question or you could do a '5 questions asked most about...

3. Keep an eye on the length of your article. On average an article should be between 300 and 750 words. Most computers these days have a facility for doing a word count. Learn how to use it - it will save you time. Check the rules of the article directories before submitting your article. Some suggest articles of over 500 words others suggest an average of 350-400 words.

4. Do not be too eager. As soon as you finish your article don't rush off to submit it to every search engine you can think of. When it is finished make sure you check it over for spelling and grammar mistakes. Do not always rely on the spell checker facility. Get a friend to proofread it and ensure that it flows smoothly. Does it convey what you want it to? Is it relevant to your sit? Do you keep to the point?

5. Remember - this is an article not a sales letter. The article should provide information and lead people to your website. Once they are at your website that's the time to sell to them. If people think you are just trying to sell them something in your article they will lose respect for you and this in turn can damage your credibility. This is NOT what you want. Give them information and make them want to know more.

6. Stay focused. Keep to the point. If you are passionate about your topic it is so easy to drift off in other directions so you have to avoid this. Ideally you should write an outline for your article and jot down some key points about what you want to say. Keep referring back to this in order to stay on track.

7. Write as if you are talking to a close friend. Use everyday words that are easily understood. Don't try to impress people with words that your reader would need a dictionary by their side in order to understand what you are saying.
